In recent years, Zixing City has taken multiple measures to protect the water source of the Dongjiang Lake, such as prohibition of tree cutting, returning the net boxes to shore and actively guiding the transformation of farmers.

Every effort has been made in Chenzhou to improve management of water supply. Chenzhou has renovated the old pipe network in the downtown area and completed the installation of monitoring master meters in more than 100 communities, which has reduced the leakage rate of water supply from 24% to 17%.

Chenzhou actively fulfills its responsibility of construction, focusing on the implementation of three major projects, namely cultivation of innovative enterprises, transformation of innovative achievements as well as introduction and construction of innovative platforms. The third-generation dryer developed by the company is the world’s first “low temperature” grain dryer, which has obtained 12 types of patented technologies like the technology “three stages and two sides drying”. In the drying of grain and seeds, the efficiency is 20%~50% higher than before, and the fuel cost is more than 30% less than the common cross-flow grain dryer.
The products of Hunan Chenzhou Grain and Oil Machinery Co., Ltd. have reached the global market and basically covered all the rice producing areas and mixed grain producing areas in the world.
The neutral borosilicate medical glass products developed by Chenzhou Kibing Photovoltaic Photoelectric Glass Co., Ltd. can achieve the non-penetration of drugs from -72 ℃ to 500 ℃, breaking the technical monopoly and realizing the localization substitution.
Hunan Shizhuyuan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. has continuously improved the level of comprehensive utilization of resources. It has achieved fruitful innovative results and transformed them into productivity, so that the tungsten recovery rate has increased from about 30% at the beginning to over 70% at present.
